I grew up as kind of a tomboy and still kinda am. I played basketball, swam competitively, practiced target shooting every weekend, and wore biker shorts EVERYWHERE for a period of time. But as soon as I was allowed to wear makeup and subscribe to Teen Magazine, I was hooked on fashion. Experimenting with colors, patterns, hairstyles has helped me express myself at every age. This led me to my true passion in life - photography. I love getting the chance to shoot people when they're looking their most beautiful and, more importantly, feeling it. I feel so lucky to be able to capture joyful memories for you.
I am blessed to be surrounded by friends and family who give me joy and confidence on a daily basis. I live in San Jose with my wonderful husband Jesse and my adorable dog Barney. I still love swimming and am proud of the fact that I can now do pull-ups! In addition to collecting makeup and swim goggles, I like making ice cream, Wii Bowling, solving math problems (seriously) and quoting How I Met Your Mother. And yes, I always decide to be awesome instead.
